Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the DevLoop platform ("DevLoop", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use our platform or services.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, clients posting jobs, freelancers applying for jobs, and contributors of content.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

To use certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. By registering, you warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
  • All information provided during registration (and KYC verification) is accurate, current, and complete.
  • You will maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.

3. Platform Use and Restrictions

DevLoop acts as a marketplace facilitating connections between Clients and Freelancers. We are not a party to the independent contracts formed between users. As a user, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Attempt to bypass or circumvent the DevLoop platform for communication, payment, or contracts (Off-Platform Transactions).
  • Post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libelous content.
  • Distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm DevLoop, or the interests or property of DevLoop users.
  • Harvest or otherwise collect information about users without their consent.

4. Fees and Payments

DevLoop charges service fees for use of the platform. We reserve the right to change our fee structure at any time with prior notice. Clients are responsible for paying all fees and applicable taxes associated with use of the site. Payment protection is handled via our Escrow services where applicable.

If a Client fails to pay an invoice or reverse a payment (chargeback) after a service has been rendered, the Client's account will be suspended, and DevLoop reserves the right to employ collection agencies and legal action.

5. Termination and Suspension

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the DevLoop platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. If your account is suspended ("Account on Hold" or "Banned"), you shall not register a new account to bypass the restriction.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DevLoop, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.
